Staples out!
Today was my first follow-up doctor's appointment to have my staples removed. It was surprisingly not painful at all. I was however directed to use Benedryl, to take care of a minor skin irritation, and to wear giant girdle grannie panties - so that's in my future:)
Since birth, Charlie has had a small heart murmur. I think this is very common in most preterm babies. Today medication was given to him to try and correct this issue. If the murmur does not cure itself, they will have to preform a small surgery to fix the opening. This is a common procedure but still scarey think about a heart surgery on our little guy.
